John Vincent Nelson known by family and friends “Rosebud” was killed from from a fire in his home which was completely destroyed. He was never married and was the son of Benjamin (Ben) T. Nelson and Martha (Mattie) Redden Nelson. He was a carpenter and lived on Old Kanuga Road at the time of his death
