Anne Verda Anderson Hamilton, wife of Elsie B. Hamilton
According to Ruth Beddingfield Helms in The Heritage of Henderson County, Volume II, Article 15, “Anne Verda (24-November 1898 – 13 March 1926) married Elsie B. Hamilton.  Verda taught school in Henderson County, North Carolina and Greenville County, South Carolina until she moved to San Francisco, California during the summer of 1925.  She met and married Elsie in San Francisco.  Verda died of complications related to pregnancy with no surviving children. Verda is buried Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.”
