B. Pauline Sentell Capps, wife of Abram Harris Capps
According to Myrtle June Capps Lovell who wrote in the “Heritage of Henderson County – Volume 1, “Abram Harris Capps and Pauline lived on their upper Mud Creek farm on Crab Creek Road facing the scenic spot called Potato Hill. Pauline taught in the old Antioch School. It was located on the Kanuga Road between the present sites of the Tabernacle and the Pardee estate. Pauline was a master of the art of story telling. She entertained her children by reciting poetry and repeating folk tales. She kept them spellbound with her own story creations. They had ten children… six of the eight who reached maturity became teachers.”
