Willie Louise Perry
Willie Louise Perry was born on September 6, 1926 in Hendersonville, North Carolina to Gordon and Maude Hefner Williams. On May 13, 1945, she married Harry Perry in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and they enjoyed seventy four years of marriage.
Willie Louise Perry was a testament to a Proverbs 31 woman and had a true servant’s heart. Willie, endeared by all who knew and loved her, took great pride in her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She remembered birthdays, anniversaries, and sent thoughtful cards, some of which she hand made. She was gentle, humble, and gracious always meeting others with a wide inviting smile or embrace. Willie made everything beautiful. Her gift of decorating made every house a home to be enjoyed by all who visited. Willie also enjoyed traveling and assisted in her husband’s genealogy studies. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was always active in her local church. They have lived in the Katy area since October of 2013.
Willie Perry passed peacefully and joyfully into the loving embrace of her savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 8, 2019, in Richmond, Texas at the age of 92.
She is survived by her husband, Harry T. Perry of Richmond; son, Harry T. Perry, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Kansas City, MO; grandsons, Travis Perry and his wife Diane of Katy, Clayton Perry and his wife Tiffany of Kansas City, MO, and Aaron Perry and his wife Juel of Kansas City, MO; 12 beloved great-grandchildren, Ethan, David, Emily, Anna, Henry, Faith, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Hope, Liana, Samuel and Hazel; as well as extended family
