Mary Ella Huneycutt Morgan
Mary Ella Huneycutt Morgan, wife of G. William Morgan
Mary Ella Huneycutt Morgan married William Morgan from the Forest City area and later moved to Oak Ridge TN during WW II . William (Bill) worked with the Oak Ridge Atomic Energy Project. Mary was a teacher and taught in Oak Ridge until the late 1950’s when she and Bill moved to Washington DC to continue work in the Atomic Energy Commission. Mary taught school in Maryland (shared by a family member). Mary Ella Huneycutt Morgan taught and coached basketball at East Flat Rock school. During the war, she married William Morgan of Rutherfordton and later taught school in Oak Ridge, TN and Bethesda, MD. They had no children (shared by a family member)
