Daniel C. McCarson was the child of Clyde DeWitt McCarson and Sue Jane Jones McCarson born in Henderson County, North Carolina. A newborn only a few days old, his death was the result of Acute Bronchitis and Influenza. He was buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on January 30, 1940.
