Mariah Louisa Drake Jimison was married to Merrimon C. Jimison and the daughter of John Bryson Drake and Catharine “Cate” Brigman. She was most likely named after the sister of her father who has the same name Mariah Louisa Drake Osteen. She was born in Madison County, North Carolina in 1870 and died in Henderson County in June 1904 at the age of 34. There are two of Mariah Jimison’s infant children also buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
